40' long Beaned and resined bar at BEANLANDIA
To begin, I designed some beaned tiles of camellias, fleur des lis, diamonds and squares of beans to eventually fit together into a mosaic for the bar that was still in process of being built out. Once the tiles were many, I mapped out how they would fit along the curvature of the bar and then pieced the tiles together, glueing them together into larger sections. Here below, you will see some tile examples, prepping the surface, laying the larger glued-together sections down and the elaborate resining tent needed to get the job done in an old warehouse with no HVAC– fun!!   And then done!  ((insert trophy emoji here))
